Deals: M6 Mac mini $500+ off with M4 trades, AirTag 2 $20 each, 48GB M5 Pro MacBook Pro $400 off, more

Apple has officially launched pre-orders for its updated Mac hardware lineup featuring the new M6, M5 Pro, M5 Max, and M5 Ultra processors, alongside a wave of major retailer discounts on Apple devices and tech accessories.

The newly unveiled M6 Mac mini leads the hardware announcements as the first computer powered by Apple's M6 chip. The updated compact desktop starts with 512GB of storage and is now available for pre-order on Apple's online store and Amazon. Apple is offering trade-in promotions to offset the cost of the new desktop. Customers trading in a mid-range M4 Mac mini equipped with 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage can receive up to $525 in trade-in credit, bringing the final cost of the new M6 Mac mini down to $374.

Alongside the entry-level Mac mini, Apple opened pre-orders for the M5 Pro Mac mini and introduced a redesigned Mac Studio housing the M5 Max and M5 Ultra processors. Retailers have simultaneously introduced substantial discounts on current high-end MacBook Pro configurations. Amazon and B&H are both offering 14-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro models for $2,699. Amazon’s listing features an upgraded 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU with 24GB of RAM and 2TB of storage, reflecting a $500 discount off its original $3,199 list price. B&H is offering a configuration featuring 48GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 15-core CPU with a 16-core GPU, marked down $400 from its $3,099 list price. In addition to the hardware lineup, Apple introduced a next-generation Polishing Cloth priced at $9.

Price drops have also extended to Apple accessories on Amazon. The 2026 AirTag 2 has reached its lowest recorded price since launch, selling for $24 for a single unit. Multi-packs offer additional savings, reducing the cost to $20 per unit when purchased in a four-pack. Meanwhile, the Midnight color variant of the AirPods Max 2 is currently available on Amazon for $429, representing a $120 discount from its $549 list price. Other color options for the AirPods Max 2 are listed at $449, reflecting a $100 reduction.

Third-party tech brands have also cut prices on smart home equipment and location trackers. Anker’s new Eufy SmartTrack Card E40, which supports both Apple’s Find My platform and Google Find Hub, dropped to an all-time low of $24.99 on Amazon. Amazon has also discounted Ring’s flagship security hardware, pricing both the wireless Ring Battery Doorbell 4K Pro and the Ring Wired Doorbell 4K Pro at $180, down nearly 30 percent from their $250 retail prices. Additional accessory offers include the Twelve South TimePorter Watch Strap Organizer for under $21 and Anker’s 7-in-1 Nano Charging Station for $59.98.
