EFF Launches Podcast Feed for EFFecting Change Livestreams – Listen Now

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has launched a new podcast feed featuring its EFFecting Change livestream series, starting with a discussion on the Right to Repair movement featuring Adam Savage and iFixit CEO Kyle Wiens. The initiative expands access to the organization’s monthly conversations by making full recordings available on popular podcast platforms. The first episode, originally streamed in July 2024, is now accessible to listeners who prefer audio-only formats, ideal for commutes or on-the-go learning.

EFF’s EFFecting Change podcast feed allows users to subscribe and automatically receive new episodes as they are released. Each installment includes the complete conversation from the livestream, providing in-depth insights into current technology and policy issues. The series focuses on how digital rights and innovation intersect with public interest, offering expert perspectives on pressing topics. The Right to Repair episode with Adam Savage and Kyle Wiens highlights ongoing advocacy for consumer rights and sustainable technology repair practices.

The next EFFecting Change livestream, titled “Who the Machine Serves,” will feature EFF Executive Director Nicole Ozer and author Cory Doctorow in a discussion about artificial intelligence and its societal impact. Scheduled for a future date, the event will explore how AI can be developed and governed to benefit the public rather than concentrated power structures. Listeners and viewers are encouraged to RSVP to join the live conversation and participate in the Q&A.

EFF continues to emphasize the importance of digital rights and open access to technology. The organization invites supporters to contribute to its mission by donating, ensuring that expert-led discussions and advocacy efforts can continue. The EFFecting Change podcast feed is available alongside other EFF podcasts on the organization’s website, eff.org/podcast.
