Yourmanorborne, Satyavan, and Coffee At Eleven shine in Hyderabad workouts

Three horses distinguished themselves in morning workouts at the Mumbai Race Course on Sunday, August 30, as reported by turf officials. Yourmanorborne, Satyavan and Coffee At Eleven completed strong gallops over various distances, signaling good fitness ahead of upcoming races.

Over six hundred metres Yourmanorborne’s stable companion Phantom Strike set a moderate 41-second clocking while Yourmanorborne did not figure in that split. At eight hundred metres three pairs moved in company: Dashing Cheri and Scaramouche ran level in 56 seconds, Pentimento quickened away to beat Snow Sky by three lengths in 57 seconds, and New Star and Golden Gun completed the trip in 55 seconds with both finishing freely.

The kilometre work attracted the keenest interest. Coffee At Eleven, ridden by Prasad, moved impressively in 1 minute 5 seconds, covering the final six hundred metres in 37 seconds. Satyavan, partnered by Gore, also worked nicely in 1 minute 6 seconds, recording a final six-hundred-metre split of 38 seconds. Styx, ridden by T.S. Jodha, finished well clear in 1 minute 9 seconds, while Juracan completed a creditable gallop in 1 minute 6 seconds.

Further out, Yourmanorborne returned to the track for the longest effort of the morning. Under Kuldeep, Yourmanorborne covered the mile and a half in 2 minutes 3 seconds, posting splits of 1 minute 49 seconds at 1400 metres and 1 minute 21 seconds at 1200 metres. The performance confirmed Yourmanorborne’s status as a leading contender for upcoming graded events.

Mock races staged on Saturday had offered a preview of form. In the first eight-hundred-metre test Zuccaro, Dyf and Matisse returned a winning time of 1 minute 52 seconds, with Zuccaro prevailing by three-quarters of a length and seven and a half lengths clear of the third. The second test over twelve hundred metres saw Marius dominate from start to finish in 1 minute 11 seconds, finishing one and a half lengths, eight lengths and five and a half lengths clear of Fourth Wing, Rules and Between Friends respectively.
